We hunted down an investigator to a Pentecostal church then I bore my testimony in the church. The rest was good old fashion missionary work.
Should I Serve a Mission
I spent some time writing a letter to my daughter about serving a mission. It was long. She may not read all of it. But I felt it was important for me to say these things. It stems from the question, are you serving a mission for the right reasons?

A missionary considering going home
While on Reddit, I saw a post by a missionary currently serving who was questioning his faith and the church. It was sad. You could sense the doubt and subsequent turmoil he was experiencing seeking answers to his faith.
I would like to comment on this, not just for him but for all who question their faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

So, each night, in the bedroom I shared with two of my brothers, I turned on the light above my bed and read a chapter in the Book of Mormon. Then, turning off the light, I slipped out of my bed onto my knees and prayed. I prayed more sincerely and with greater desire than I ever had before. I asked Heavenly Father to please let me know of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.
