Maybe being called a “Christian” is similar to being called a “Mormon.” We should desire to be called by his name, Jesus Christ. Maybe the word Christian is a subtle distraction from the name we should seek to follow. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Honestly, after everything that was explained… I’m not sure that the word Christian is much better than the word Mormon.

Red One Movie Review
I had to give my 2 cents on Red One. My family and I went to see the movie over Thanksgiving Day weekend. As a dad, it was not my favorite Christmas movie. It was intended to capture money at the box office with Marvel-style fighting and not intended to spiritually enlighten anyone. Just a popcorn movie.

Question: “Do you not believe that God inspired the early leaders of this country in the formation of this great nation?”
Answer: “I find no evidence in my studies of God’s hand directing the affairs of mankind in any age.”
Question: “With such a philosophy, how do you stand in front of your congregation each week and teach Christian doctrine?”
Answer: “Oh, it is not difficult. I gather together a representative group of the congregation and whatever is the consensus of this group, this is what I preach.”
