Come unto Christ and “offer your whole [soul]” to Him. This is the secret to a life of joy!
President Russell M. Nelson – Come Unto Christ
My journey to become worthy to enter Zion.
Come unto Christ and “offer your whole [soul]” to Him. This is the secret to a life of joy!
President Russell M. Nelson – Come Unto Christ
Jesus Christ took upon Himself your sins, your pains, your heartaches, and your infirmities. You do not have to bear them alone! He will forgive you as you repent. He will bless you with what you need. He will heal your wounded soul. As you yoke yourself to Him, your burdens will feel lighter. If you will make and keep covenants to follow Jesus Christ, you will find that the painful moments of your life are temporary. Your afflictions will be “swallowed up in the joy of Christ.”
President Russell M. Nelson – The Lord Jesus Christ Will Come Again
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints enables access to God’s power because it is authorized by Him both to teach the doctrine of Christ and to offer the gospel’s saving and exalting ordinances. – Elder Dale G. Renlund – This Is My Gospel—This Is My Church
Priesthood ordinances and covenant promises allow God to sanctify us and then work wonders in our lives.
President Emily Belle Freeman – Live Up to Your Privileges
John describes himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved,” as if that arrangement were somehow unique. I like to think that this was because John felt so completely loved by Jesus. God’s Favourite (churchofjesuschrist.org)
Hope is a living gift, a gift that grows as we increase our faith in Jesus Christ.
The Triumph of Hope – Elder Neil L Andersen – October 2024 General Conference
Like a light whose brilliance grows, hope brightens the darkened world, and we see our glorious future.
The Triumph of Hope – Elder Neil L Andersen – October 2024 General Conference
Wow, what a great general conference! I nearly watched every talk and came away with several key takeaways. I’m excited to read through the talks again and refine my thoughts. Here is a brief review of the conference from my perspective.
Here are my notes from the Saturday Evening Session of the October 2024 General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. President Nelson announces 17 new temples and declares, “The best is yet to come.”
Here are my notes from the October 2024 General Conference Sunday Morning Session. I’ve spent the morning preparing pumpkin cinnamon roles. Then my mother unexpectedly showed up bringing cinnamon roles she had made for us. What a kind gesture. She is always so thoughtful. I ate hers because my dough is still rising. I may need to cut out during one of the talks to roll them out. My main point is that I will likely miss a few talks as I finish my cinnamon roles.
