2 Esdras 11 1 Then saw I a dream, and, behold, there came up from the sea an eagle, which had twelve feathered wings, and three heads. 2 And I saw, and, behold, she spread her wings over all the earth, and all the winds of the air blew on […]

A few thoughts on the last days
I remember as a kid, maybe in my early teens doing the math and thinking to myself, in the year 2000 I will be 27 years old. I can’t even imagine living that long. I couldn’t picture anything about what my life would be like.
Esdras Eagle
If I read this at face value, it says:
– Biden’s term will end early
– The next presidency is going to be a train wreck.
– It will be upset by one of the branches of government.
– Within 2 to 3 election cycles America will cease to exist.
Kim Curtis – Angel of Light
One day I was standing outside a classroom, waiting for one class to end and another to start when this girl exited the classroom. To my astonishment, she was radiating with the most glorious light shining all around her. She glowed like an Angel. I instantly felt drawn to her. The next week I waited outside the door again, hoping to see this girl a second time. Again she was glowing with light. I knew I needed to know her, but I lacked the courage to talk to her.
1 Esdras
I listened to the book of 1 Esdras today. I’ve been curious what the books of the apocrypha say due to my interest in the Esdras Eagle prophecy. So, on a family trip I decided to pull up that book and listen to it. Time and time again it reminded me of reading the book of Ether in the Book of Mormon. I thought that was interesting.
How did I do this week? July 27, 2023
Wow, it has been a crazy week or two. Work has been hard. My car broke down. Shortly after my car broke down, I had planned to go with my boys on a young men’s campout. That was inconvenient.
NYNYS Mission – May 10-13, 1996
The whole day has been a Deja Vu. I dreamed this day. Everywhere I went everything I did, I had dreamed it all. I don’t know it was almost like a day of revelation. It was the weirdest feeling I can’t explain. It was just nuts. We may finally have baptisms. I’m learning a lot from my new companion. It’s like I know that my heavenly father wants me to have certain attributes. I know he is trying to get me to learn them. I dreamed them.
Mediocrity is of the Adversary
I served my mission from 1995 to 1997. My mission president was Walter John Bailey III. It’s coming up on 30 years at this point. In a recent post, I spoke of the mediocre member. It caused me to reflect upon my mission and a phrase I heard my mission president speak a few times. All these years later, those words have stuck with me. They were: “mediocrity is of the adversary.”
A Sacrifice I Am Unwilling to Make
In the previous post about the mediocre member (Mormon), I discussed the Lord’s Process outlined by John Pontius. I have to say the thing I liked the most about it was simply starting from where you are. Nothing sophisticated.
The Lords Process
The Lords Process
1 – Start where you are
2 – Harken to the voice of the Holy Spirit in the things of your everyday life.
3 – When the next line or precept appears, embrace it.
