We met 2 weird people this week. First, a Hebrew Isrealite guy I used to always see outside of China […], a restaurant where we would go eat. He would speak his philosophies, but this particular day, we got the opportunity to speak with him [directly]. I knew he was part of a movement. He spoke about astrologers and crap. He claimed to be God and have perfect knowledge of us. He said Mormons and Jesus run the world. Right? This guy had some growth in his eye. And half a pair of sunglasses strapped to his head. Ugly big dreadlocks and combat boots. He said we’re fighting the battle in the trenches so his people will pay for us to live and get rich. We’re in the woods amidst the raging wolves. We’re brave. Great.
We met Moses, a member of Mita. […] Mita was a Puerto Rican Pentecostal woman who was called by angels to be a prophet and given a stone with the name Mita on it (while on her death bed). [He said] that is God’s name. So she was called as God’s wife. So she’s God’s wife in the flesh. Wow, God’s name is Aaron [and he] gave Moses the power to control the Sun and Moon. When he walked, they followed him. He proved it to us 10 times by walking away from us up the block and the Sun would disappear following him (NOT). But we [acknowledged it] anyhow. He showed us our hands where it says Mita. The MA patterns on [the palm of] our hands that’s God’s name. So we’re His. Wow.

I started to see and understand why I’m here as a DL and not a ZL. Oh well. I would buckle here. But today, we went to Manhatten for a meeting with Elder Ballard. He got on us about being obedient, not just that but [being] better missionaries. He let us ask him questions about missionary work, […] They asked the dumbest questions. Stupid things they should all already know. […] then there was something about marriage and he answered it, then turned to Bailey and said, isn’t that right? [At this point, Elder Ballard, President Rasban (now Apostle), and President Bailey had an exchange. I am unclear what it was, so I am going to omit it.] .
