General Conference October 2024 – Sunday Morning

Here are my notes from the October 2024 General Conference Sunday Morning Session. I’ve spent the morning preparing pumpkin cinnamon roles. Then my mother unexpectedly showed up bringing cinnamon roles she had made for us. What a kind gesture. She is always so thoughtful. I ate hers because my dough is still rising. I may need to cut out during one of the talks to roll them out. My main point is that I will likely miss a few talks as I finish my cinnamon roles.

My initial thoughts are, that there is no way that this next decade is even remotely as. The first vision, is the restoration of the priesthood, the organization of the church. They only thing that could make it greater is the return of Jesus Christ. I think much of that will be discussed regarding this talk.

  • Alma
  • As the preaching of the word …
  • Holy Ghost
  • The Holy Ghost will reveal the truth and the turth only.
  • One of the surest way to avoid false doctrine is to stay with simplicity
  • Teaching simply
  • Sieze every opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Children
  • For every hour spent teaching a child, there are hours spent teachinga gainst them
  • There is a desire to do something fun
  • What words of doctine can we share that will help them
  • Great Grandmother – Devotion to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Teaching the gospel in Germany which was illegal
  • Cast in to jail and cast out of jail
  • You may question if you have knowledge and confidence enough to teach it.

This is me… I have not wanted to teach in videos because I have feared because of my weaknesses. I can teach the doctrines simply. To children. I have already laid a foundation of teaching children. I can’t even explain how troubled I have been with this. It has constantly been on my mind. Troubling me morming and night.

Song – Spirit of God
