This is a 2-part series given in Mount Pleasant on Jan 13, 2024. They include a few things that I have not heard Morgan share. I must say I am very impressed with everything that Morgan has found. At this point in my life, I would say I have not been blessed with the ability to study and learn like this. I am truly impressed.
As I listen I am blown away by what my mind is piecing together, but I want to understand it better. So, I’m going to take note and piece together what he says to see if it makes real sense.
He gives a brief personal history and brings up a hypothetical “Why politics never seem to work?” Even with limited success politics as a whole does not work.
You can’t find the word politics in the scriptures. He outlines some facts about the term politics. It is in 16th century English. It is in the original Websters 1820 Dictionary which is based on 16th century english. It excised, but for some reason, God didn’t include it in the scriptures.
Morgan goes on to talk about an interaction with Elder Faust where he was asked about being a democrat. Elder Faust replied, “I have risen above such things.”
This is the first big topic.
[09:00] Weaponization of the US government against its own citizens; against political view points.
The loss of political freedoms.
He talks about being in a meeting and asked if the person knew were most of America’s terrorism is being bread. Morgan was told it is happening in the west. Then Morgan goes on to talk about incidences of terrorism in the west, they are few and far between. He outlines a few cases, but in the ends states that most people know that in
[11:20] Secret Combinations
This is really interesting. Morgan lays out the differences between organized crime and secret combinations. Why they are different. Secret combinations took over the government, then even spread into the righteous. This was to the point crime was no longer criminal. It isn’t crime if it is legal. It is crime because it is against the law.
Ether 8:16 And they were kept up by the power of the devil to administer these oaths unto the people, to keep them in darkness, to help such as sought power to gain power, and to murder, and to plunder, and to lie, and to commit all manner of wickedness and whoredoms.
This is done now through education. Our schools are administering these oaths. From the bottom to the top A
It is all in the name of power.
There are some things that Morgan points out here. They are things I am unfamiliar with. So, I’m going to reference them. If I have time at some point, I will study up on them.

Penetrate the barriers the constitution setup to restrain executive power. Lead to organization like World Economic Forum, World Health Organization, Utah Association of Counties, National Governors Association, etc. These organizations are set up and given power that transcend boundaries established by the constitution.
[16:20] Morgan is going to use the scriptures to show us that ALL the scriptures point to our day and beg us to wake up.
President Nelson – General Conference April 2018 – “Now, brethren, will you please remain standing and join with our chorus in singing all three verses of “Rise Up, O Men of God.”13 While you sing, think of your duty as God’s mighty army to help prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord. This is our charge. This is our privilege. I so testify in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.“

President Nelson – General Conference April 2018 – “But in coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.
My beloved brothers and sisters, I plead with you to increase your spiritual capacity to receive revelation.“
So at this point Morgan has pointed out that there are secret combinations in our government. These secret combinations are seeking power. Then the prophet warns us to strengthen ourselves spiritually so that we may have the revelation we need to survive.
2 years after this talk by the prophet, COVID hit.
It’s interesting. I remember watching the videos coming out of China from the fall of 2019 until the spring of 2020. I saw COVID coming to America like an 18-wheeler in your rearview mirror that is about to smash into the back of your car. There were videos of people collapsing in the street. Hazmat teams scraping them up off the street. Lockdowns. Empty cities. People being drug out of their homes kicking and screaming by teams in hazmat suits because they had been exposed to COVID. It was insanity. And people in America were not paying attention.
The lockdowns were surreal. It was so strange to sit home as a family. No one going to work or school. I actually still worked from home, just not in the office. We had church at home, preparing and partaking of the sacrament every Sunday as a family in our Livingroom. I personally felt calm and protected. At work there were urges to get vaccinated. I did not want to. I did not trust the government or companies producing the vaccine. Our ward and neighbors were split on the vaccine. Half the ward thought the prophet had commanded it and half did not. Neighbors were angry at neighbors over it. It became difficult to resist. Yet, we resisted.
We had our bout with COVID and always wondered if we might die. Concerned we kept checking our oxygen levels, taking our vitamins, etc. Yet harm came over us. For me it was one of the worst sicknesses I have had for about 3 days. Then I gradually got better. After about 3 weeks I was completely well.
One of our family friends, his father was the first in Utah to die of COVID. Our next-door neighbor, his father died a week after taking the vaccine. One of our old neighbors contracted COVID. He had received every booster shot. He contracted COVID while on a business trip, ended up in the hospital in another state and died. COVID truly was able to kill. But so was the vaccine. And was it going to protect me and my family? I did not know. But I never felt the spirit tell me to receive it.
I’m sure this is only the beginning of the challenges we will face in the last days. We must pay the price for priesthood power and we must learn to listen to the whispers of the Holy Ghost.
[18:15] Eat your vitamin pills.
President Nelson in Chile – October 2018 – “The Lord said, I will hasten my work in its time, and he makes good on his promises. If you think the church has been fully restored, you’re just seeing the beginning. Wait until next year [2019], and the next year [2020]. Eat your vitamin pills. Get some rest. It’s going to be exciting.”
President Nelson – October 2018 General Conference – “I love you and thank you and now bless you with the ability to leave the world behind as you assist in this crucial and urgent work. Together we can do all that our Heavenly Father needs us to do to prepare the world for the Second Coming of His Beloved Son.”
I went and listened to this talk again. It is marvelous. He asked the sisters to go on a 10-day social media fast. I remember this when it happened. I had 100% forgot about the concept until re-listening to it. I have recently felt the burden social media is upon the soul. Hearing those words were enlightening to me. I think piggyback this idea of “leaving the world behind.” And leaving social media behind may be what is necessary to spiritually survive.
President Nelson – April 2019 General Conference – “Now, as President of His Church, I plead with you who have distanced yourselves from the Church and with you who have not yet really sought to know that the Savior’s Church has been restored. Do the spiritual work to find out for yourselves, and please do it now. Time is running out“.
President Nelson – March 2019 in Rome, Italy – “The dedication of the Rome Italy Temple is “a hinge point in the history of the Church,” said President Russell M. Nelson while visiting the ancient and great city where two millennia ago Peter and Paul preached and died. Things are going to move forward at an accelerated pace,” said President Nelson. “The Church is going to have an unprecedented future, unparalleled. We’re just building up to what’s ahead now.”
Morgan then says the hardest hit place in the world is Italy? Is that right? Let me go look around to see what I find.
After looking around a bit. I’m not 100% sure where to look for statistics. But, thought I would look for graphs a few different ways, by country and by year on Coronavirus stats. It does look as though one of the first hardest hit areas was Europe in general. Countries around Italy were hit hard including, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Belgium, England and others. The hard thing was finding a graph with a date. So here are two graphs.
President Nelson – October 2020 General Conference – Admittedly, the Lord has spoken of our day in sobering terms. He warned that in our day “men’s hearts [would fail] them” and that even the very elect would be at risk of being deceived. He told the Prophet Joseph Smith that “peace [would] be taken from the earth” and calamities would befall mankind.
He makes reference to the footnote D&C 45:26 – And in that day shall be heard of wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men’s hearts shall fail them, and they shall say that Christ delayeth his coming until the end of the earth.
About the very elect being deceived. I live in Utah. I fell I live among the elect. If you consider what took place when COVID hit and how divided the saints were, it was not clear which was the right path. You had to have faith that your actions were right. But I believe the medical community deceived many. “Trust the science” was the clarion call. Then came the healthy young people dying of cardiac arrest. Then came the cancer. It’s been a few years and the “trust the science” group is still not ready to research and provide any science on the cardiac arrest and cancer group. So, it’s a conspiracy theory that they are related.
So, I went and spent some time trying to find statistics on Cardiac Arrest numbers. I can’t find any. It’s like google scrubbed anything after 2020 from the internet. I found one in Israel about the increase in cardiac arrests. Cardiac Arrest data – short version – IsraeLab (substack.com) There is not much information that can bee googled on COVID or pandemic era cardiac arrests from what I can see. That is a little surprising.
President Nelson – April 2021 General Conference – “We live in a time prophesied long ago, when “all things shall be in commotion; and surely, men’s hearts shall fail them; for fear shall come upon all people.” That was true before the pandemic, and it will be true after. Commotion in the world will continue to increase.“

D&C 45:25-26 –
25 But they shall be gathered again; but they shall remain until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
26 And in that day shall be heard of wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men’s hearts shall fail them, and they shall say that Christ delayeth his coming until the end of the earth.
And here Morgan starts asking why this is important: In D&C 45; the Lord gave this information to Joseph Smith and it was so important that the Lord also gave us the Joseph Smith Matthew in the Pearl of Great Price which is a combination of Matthew 23 and 24. In a sense we have 3 versions of Matthew 24 now.
“President Nelson is footnoting that and saying you live right now in that time. Placing you squarely in the chronology of the Second Coming.” – Morgan Philpot
[22:30] The Desolating Sickness – I think this is interesting.
D&C 45:25-26 –
25 But they shall be gathered again; but they shall remain until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
30 And in that generation shall the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
31 And there shall be men standing in that generation, that shall not pass until they shall see an overflowing scourge; for a desolating sickness shall cover the land.
SEARCH – Desolating – It only pulls up 2 times. Try to find the root or the first time it was used. Change the term to Desolation. Actually, look for Desolate. The first appearance is Genesis 47.
Genesis 47:17 – Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.
The story of Pharoh and Joseph who had the coat of many colors who was also sold into Egypt.
President Hinckley – October 2001 General Conference – I cannot forget the great lesson of Pharaoh’s dream of the fat and lean kine and of the full and withered stalks of corn. I cannot dismiss from my mind the grim warnings of the Lord as set forth in the 24th chapter of Matthew. I am familiar, as are you, with the declarations of modern revelation that the time will come when the earth will be cleansed and there will be indescribable distress, with weeping and mourning and lamentation (see D&C 112:24).
This is what is interesting. Morgan starts to lay out what happened in Egypt compared to today. You had 4 cycles of 7 years. Genesis 41
- Seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed (2001 to 2007)
- Seven ill favoured and leanfleshed (2008 to 2014)
- Seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good (2015 to 2021)
- Seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind (2021 to 2028)
In 2029 / 2030 there are two things taking place. In a nutshell, these combined are a New World Order.
Morgan is using this to link President Hinkley’s talk to the Great Reset. In Pharoh’s dream, 7 years of plenty pass, followed by 7 years of famine. It was not a 28 year cycle. Could the account have been doubled so that in our day, it would reflect 28 years? I’m not sure?
Morgan starts to talk about the G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States) and their counterparts BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates). Basically, you have groups of countries that form to create for political and economic power. Historically the United States, which is part of the G7, has been at the top. The strongest economic and political power in the world. For many years no other nation has ever come close. In 2022 (interesting at the start of the 7 thin ears) BRICS overtook the G7 in GDP.
Is this true? Yes.

Now, I’m not 100% sure about this. Mogan talks about two competing economies competing in an economic war being a “Cold War” but I guess the question would be, just because one economic group overtakes another, does that actually mean we are at war, physically or economically? I guess that would depend on who it is? Right now, BRICS is made up of Russia, Iran, and China; none of which are friends to America. All of which would like to see the demise of America.
[27:40] The argument is that we are in a cold war with BRICS. At the end of the cold war in 2029 we will either economically collapse or go to war.
Morgan basically says that the notice by President Hinckley points to this. I sees that he pointed out 4 periods of item. To Joseph they were one and the same. Just given two different ways. With us, why would they all of a sudden by 4 periods of time, or twice as long? It does seem to fit the pattern, but I think it is a bit of a stretch unless Morgan or someone can illustrate why it would not be 28 years instead of 14 years. But I do also think it is cool that it fit together.
I guess Morgan is going to try to do that. So back to D&C 45 again…
D&C 45:25-26 –

31 And there shall be men standing in that generation, that shall not pass until they shall see an overflowing scourge; for a desolating sickness shall cover the land
At this time, there will be an overflowing scourge and desolating sickness.
[29:00] Morgan then asks, when is the first time money appears in the scriptures. The desolating scourge led to the money failing.
Genesis 47:15 And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.
So, there was not just a desolating scourge, a famine in the land, there was a collapse of the money. Funny thing is, that is exactly where things are going with the Great Reset mentioned above. The collapse and reset of the world financial system. The collapse and replacing of the US dollar. At this point things are snowballing out of control. Morgan talks about the steps a government might take to salvage their currency ending with replacing the currency with a new one… which is what they are discussing. They want to replace the US dollar with CBDC Central Bank Digital Currency, or a digital dollar.
Isaiah 8 (2 Nephi 18:8) 8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings (a great bird of some kind) shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel. (What land? Who is the God of that land?)
Honestly, there are a few things here that I do not have a grasp on. Morgan starts talking at one point about the “Asyrian.” I’m like, what? There is an Asyrian in the last days? It’s like of like the Davidic Servant. I’m like, what? What is that? I thought the last days was just destruction and an anti-Christ. So, I am unable to give a real opinion about this, but rather just trust. There are parts of this that seem to fit together, and this is one of the reasons I am typing it all out. Can I make it fit together and understand it better myself? Somewhere in here Morgan insinuated that this Asyrian may be President Trump. He is an overflowing power.
In a sense, I get what he is saying, but does it fit. Now if it is true and all of this circles back to America, the Bird would represent the Eagle. An Eagle stretching out its wings has a likeness to Esdras Eagle. Immanuel or Jesus Christ is the God of America. If it is a type or shadow, it could have dual meanings. It was also included in the Book or Mormon. I’m going to have to assume he knows what he is talking about.
Ether 2:12 Behold, this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ, who hath been manifested by the things which we have written.
Morgan does bring up an interesting point. The scriptures in Isaiah, even though we know Jehovah is Jesus Christ, they did not use the work Jehovah or the God of Israel which would indicate the land of Israel. Yes, we do know Jesus Christ is the God over America and Emanuel is one of his names. And the two together do make a case for these pointing to America.
Isaiah 10:5-6
5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
This is interesting because it does refer to the “Asyrian” again. And it looks as though the Asyrian will be in a sense executing vengeance against the hypocritical nation. Why is the hypocritical nation? Israel? America? So, if I look at this more, the staff in their hand is mine indignation. It could mean the hypocritical nation has the staff in their hand. They are the most powerful nation on earth and the Lord is indignant because they have become hypocrites. That could easily be America.
[33:30] Morgan sidetracks to Jacobugath in the Book of Mormon. He references Robert Kay and The Mormon Yeshiva.
OK, this is really interesting. There was a point in which Morgan was mentioning 5 cities that would be destroyed. I went and read 3 Nephi 9 and read a lot more cities than 5 that were destroyed. But, there were 5 destroyed by fire including Jacobugath. Those cities were Jocobugath, Laman, Josh, Gad, and Kishkumen.
Robert then points out the root and meaning of the term Jacobucath. I do need to first state, I thought the name of his video was interesting. “Made-up Names” and before even watching the video was perplexed by the idea that the name Jacobugath could be made up.

Wow, that was interesting. The intricacies and method of interweaving messages into all of these texts and modern-day landscapes makes it pretty hard to deny there was a master crafting this story and these events. I have often through of some of the great authors, how they could have crafted a story so that in the end, all the key elements aligned to finish the story. All the things, place, people, back history, items, powers, consistency interweaving with one another. Like Lord of the Rings. The last Star Wars ruined it for me when they could teleport via the force. But this, that Robert explained was actually very beautiful and in a spiritual way built a foundation for those events that I had never imagined. I expected a simple explanation that Jacobucath was bad and the name means they are bad people also. Wow.
There was one other thing buried in that video and Robert hinted at it. The 5 cities of the planes that were destroyed. There were 5 cities of that were destroyed with Jacobugath in America. And Morgan hints that there will be 5 cities destroyed in the last days. It causes me to reflect and wonder what those cities may be, are they hidden in the names of the cities of previously destroyed? I know there are others who have spoken of dreams and visions of locations to be destroyed in the last days. Do they correlate with what the scriptures say? Maybe I’ll need to look into that?
Back to Morgan.
Where is Jacob today? He is in America. I think Morgan tries to explain some of it here.
- Jacob means: “the supplanter”
- Who “supplanted” the people in America? The seed of Jacob [Ephriam and Manasa].
- They wiped off the seed of Lehi [Nephites and Lamanites] just as predicted in 2 Nephi 1]
- 2 Nephi 1 is Directed at Lamen and Lemuel
- 2 Nephi 2 is directed at Jacob
- 2 Nephi 3 is directed at Joseph
- See anything in that order? Lamen and Lemuelites, Jacobites, Restoration of the Gospel, Joseph, Joseph Smith and the rise of Ephriam and Manasa
- Who is Jacob today? America, Jacob is the supplanter
- What happens if Jacob is not converted to the Lord?
- If you don’t join the house of Israel, you will be swept off the land.
- Jacob is unconverted Israel
- Jacobugath the city made by uncovered Israel, fully destroyed.
- He is a product of the United States of America (the Left hand of God)
- The wrath of God in contract ot the peach and mercy of God
- The Asyrian’s purpose is to go against those who are unconverted.
[38:00] A desolating sickness does not kill. It kills the economy. When did you notice that Americas economy was purposefully being brought down?
This is an interesting question. Because, even when Trump was originally elected it was believed he might turn to bankruptcy to fix the US economy. The master businessman had used bankruptcy numerous times in his own business dealings. I remember having the discussion with friends and families about it. Set Trump aside and you have the Great Reset, all of the members of the Cabal who want to reset the world economy because they know it is not sustainable. Out government continues to go trillions of dollars in debt annually. We are now 34 trillion in debt. We only have a few years until we are unable to pay that debt. In fact, it should have already crashed, but like mentioned above, they have done things to withstand a financial collapse, but are running out of options.
Who is the hypocritical nation? America. Morgan says, no one has ever suggested another country.
