I’m sorry, but I am geeking out on the Hello Saints channel by Pastor Jeff and his videos reading the Book of Mormon. It has been fascinating to me. Not because he is sharing anything profound, but how often he reinforces my love for the Book of Mormon.
Honestly, I’ll need to listen to them a second time before I can comment on specifics. It would be worth it. There were some great points.
Note: Pastor Jeff has obviously has a tremendous amount of biblical study. There obviously is not time to cover everything, but he combs through each chapter of the Book of Mormon drawing emphasis on differences in theology between evangelicals and latter-day saints. Honestly, I have been tremendously impressed. He has been incredibly fair in his analysis.

I think the most important thing Pastor Jeff mentioned in the video about the book of Alma was what he called echoes of the bible in the Book of Mormon. If God was to speak through prophets again, what would it sound like? If he is an unchangeable God; what would that would read like? There would be echoes between them that supported and clarified the truth.
